  • Chapter 24 starts off with Frankenstein at his father and William Elizabeth cemetery where they reposed by night where he was feeling raged and grief
  • "They were dead, and i lived;their murderer also lived, and to destroy him im must drag out my weary existence" (Shelley 211). 
  • "As night approached i found myself at the entrance of the cemetery where William Elizabeth, and my father reposed" (Shelley 210).
  • R.i.p William Elizabeth
  • "The deep grief which this scene had at first excited quickly gave way to rage and despair"(Shelley 211).
  • Towards the middle of chapter 24 Frankenstein writes letters to his sister explaining how he thinks he wont see England again
  • "I am surrounded by mountains of ice which admit of no escape and threaten every moment to crush my vessel" (Shelley 222).
  • "I write to you, encompassed by peril and ignorant whether i am ever doomed to see again dear England and the dearer friends that inhabit it" (Shelley 221 & 222).
  • "There is something terribly  appalling in our situation, yet my courage and hopes do not desert me" (Shelley 222).
  • At the ending of Chapter 24 it explain the bad things he did and how he chose to die while passing on a ice raft
  • "I shall die, and what I now feel be no longer felt" (Shelley 232).
  • "I have murdered the lovely and the helpless; I have strangled the innocent as they sept and grasped to death" (Shelley 231)
