  • Off to kill some Danes
  • It ends here Grendal!
  • I'm going to kill you little snot!
  • I have defeated the monster Grendal my lord
  • Great job young Beowulf!
  • so, after nightfall, Grendal set out for the lofty house, to see how the Ring-Danes were settling into it after they drink, and there come he came upon them, a company of the best, asleep from their from their feasting insensible to to pain and human sorrow. (page3. lines 115-120)
  • no more Grendal!!!thanks to Beowolf. Yaaaay!! 
  • Beowulf was granted the gory of winning; Grendal was driven under the fen-banks, fatally hurt, to his desolate lair. his days were numbered, the end of his life was coming over him, he knew it for certain. (page 10. lines,819-222) 
  • you killed my son Grendal. i will avange his death
  • "but you have made yourself immortal by your glorious action. may the God of Ages continues to keep and requite you well". (page 11. lines 952-954)
