In this scene it shows starr, Seven, kenya, Chris and DeVante in the neighboorhood getting ready to protest for justice for khalil after hearing on the radio that the police officer 115 didn't recieve any charges aganist the incident.
In this scene it shows Starr and her best friend Maya discuss how they have to stick together after the Hailey incident when she made racial slurs about them.
In this scene it shows Starr when she was at the protest and she was encouraged by Ms. Ofrah to "Use her weapon" meaning her voice to let people know how she feels about Khalil and that he should be judged based off sterotype, In the book she finally let's out her emotions and let people know who the real Khalil is to her.
