  • I am a Renaissance-era mathematician and an astronomer.
  • Nicolaus is known for his Copernican Principle, Gresham's Law, and Heliocentrism.
  • I formulated a model of the universe where the Sun was in the center rather than the Earth, and I was right.
  • I never got married and never had any children of my own.
  • The Roman Catholic Church criticized NIcolause's Theories. They even banned his book after he died and for almost 300 years it remained as a forbidden book.
  • By 1508, Nicolaus had already begun to create his model of the planetary system, suggesting the Sun instead of the Earth was the center of our universe.
  • Nicolaus wasn't the only one to suggest that the Sun is the center of our universe, other astronomers suggested this but the Roman Catholic Church didn't accept them.
