On a bright sunny day Millie, Billy, and Bob decided to go to the park.
When they reached the park they met a little girl named Lily. She was on the swings. "Should we go talk to her ?" Millie asked. "Sure," said Billy.
"Hi Lily!" shouted Millie. "Hey" said Lily very quietly. " How rude... she didn't even speak back." said Bob. " It's ok that's why her style is ugly and she's not cute enough to be my friend ." said Millie. Lily cries.
Millie, Billy ,Lily and Bob went home. When Lily got home she decided to change her style, so she could be cute enough to be Millie's friend. The next day Millie, Billy, Lily, and Bob saw each other at school.
Lily walked in the school and Millie approached her and said, "Now you're cute enough to be my friend." "Lily please tell me you didn't change your style to be friends with Millie." said Jane. "Yes, I did." said Lily. "Let me tell you something Lily. Your pretty just the way you are!" replied Jane.
"If you have to change to be someones friend maybe you shouldn't be friends with them . If you can't be yourself around them and you change for them then you become something you're not. It's important that you be yourself. It's okay to be different no one is the same. " said Jane. "Thanks Jane for helping me, now I can be myself and be comfortable." said Lily.
