Storyboard Text

  • It is the year 2081 and everyone is equal and has a handicap to maintain their equality. George and Hazel Bergeron are sitting in their living room together. They are seen wearing a similar outfit in a longshot.
  • Hazel starts crying but forgets what she is crying about. There is a close-up of Hazel crying to make the audience feel her emotion.
  • George and Hazel Bergeron are watching ballet on TV. It is a full screenshot.
  • George is thinking that dancers shouldn't be handicapped. His thought goes away when he hears a noise in his ear radio. It is a tight frame around his face to show that his thought was important to him.
  • George is describing to Hazel what the noise in his ear radio sounded like. The camera stays zoomed in on his face.
  • Sounded like somebody hitting a milk bottle with a ball peen hammer.
  • Hazel is telling George what she thinks about the different sounds that come from George's ear radio. The camera zooms out of George's face and pans toward Hazel.
  • I'd think it would be real interesting, hearing all the different sounds.
