Storyboard Text

  • Characterization of Protagonist
  • Characterization of Antagonist
  • Imagery
  • Harold Brayton is a teacher and a scientist that likes to travel and read books in his spare time. He thinks he has a snake under his bed.
  • Suspense
  • The snake under the bed that Harold thought was real and hypnotisted him was not real.
  • Point of View
  • "He merely felt that the situation was awkward and absurd"(100).
  • Mood
  • "He saw, in the shadow under the bed, the coils of a large serpent. The points of light were its eyes!"(99).
  • "It was a stuffed snake. Its eyes were two glass marbles"(101).
  • When the man got scared by the snake and though that it was real makes it a great Halloween story because its like any other type of Halloween story that a real person fools them self for something they think is real.
