  • Alfred wegener created the theory of continental drift. The theory that the land masses we live on were once connected.
  • Transform boundaries are two plates sliding and moves back and forth until it has created a movement in the plates.
  • Convergent boundaries have one plate sliding under and over another. This creates a volcano.
  • This boundary creates what we call sea floor spreading. The plate pull apart and bring up magma and creates more sea floor.
  • Earthquakes form on the plate boundaries and is what shifts plates in different places.
  • Volcanoes are formed when magma rises from the earths mantle and creates a land mass.
