  • Britan made all the laws for the colonist. When they made the laws the colonist dident have a vote about the laws. When the French and Indian War finished the Britan mad the colonist help them buy of there debt.
  • The Boston Massacre
  • Britain wanted to protect the colonist from the Native Americans. Due to this the soldiers stayed at the colonists homes. The colonist had to provide them with food and water. The colonists and the soldiers dident like this.
  •                The Boston Tea Party
  • Colonist were charged for every thing they used such as playing cards. They had to pay tax on a printed piece of paper. Britain checked if they had a stamp on the paper which means they have payed for there taxes. The Stamp Act was repealed due to that the colonist were complaining.
  • The Intolerable  Acts
  • The colonists started to throw rocks and snow balls at the soldiers and started the Boston Massacre. Then captain Preston came and some soldiers thought he said dont fire and some thought he said fire. Then Paul Revere said that the colonist were friendly but that was a lie.
  • Britanin raised the tax of the tea and only let the colonist buy from the them. The colonists dressed up as Native Americans and threw ninety thousand pounds of tea of the boat. KIng George was furious about this.
  • The law's were so harsh the colonist wouldn't except them. Britain closed the harbor so the colonist couldn't get supplies.This started the first Continental congress
  • The harbor is closed!
