Odysseus and his men stop on the shore of a nearby landmass.
Odysseus sends some of his men to scout out the island. They find a cave filled with cheese and wool.
The men return to Odysseus with the cheese and Odysseus and some of his men venture to the cave.
Odysseus and his men journey into the cave and encounter a giant, one-eyed man-beast, a Cyclops.
The Cyclops is infuriated by the presence of Odysseus and his men, he responds by grabbing two of his men and eating them. He goes to sleep afterwards.
While the Cyclops sleeps Odysseus and his men sharpen a pole and ram it into the eye of the Cyclops, blinding him. The Cyclops opens the door to let his brothers know what has happened, but Odysseus gave him a fake name, that was pronounced as Nobody so his brothers couldn;t do anything for him.
