Storyboard Text

  • Just out for a stroll right now. I used to be in geography class and learned all about the land formations and weather patterns
  • I remember being taught that the farther I go from the equator it becomes colder due to the heat rays having to travel a farther distance
  • Ah yes, here we are at the equator. I haven't been to school in a while so let me see if I can recall the things I learned
  • The hemispheres receive different amount of heat due to the angle of certain slopes. The northern hemisphere is colder and the southern hemisphere is warmer. North facing slopes will receive more snow and moisture while south slopes are more humid and dry
  • At the top of Everest here, the temperature is much colder here due to to the atmosphere getting thinner the higher up, thus not being able to hold the heat as well
  • The land and water can act as a heater or cooler. When the land heats up the surrounding water also heats but due to waters high heat capacity. So inland it is much hotter due to land heating up faster than the water whereas the coastline has the breeze as water doesn’t heat as quick
  • I should probably go home now my parents are probably worried
  • Feels quite warm this night in the desert. The clouds are acting like a blanket keeping in all the warmth for the creatures of the desert
