I do not think Bob Cratchit likes his job a lot. He has a really mean boss names Scrooge. At the beginning of the story this is showing that Scrooge is a grumpy old man.
The Ghost of Christmas Future
Merry Christmas to all!
Young Scrooge (In the chair) is all one on Christmas Eve because he has no one to go home to and both Scrooge's are sad. This is showing a little bit of change among Scrooge.
The new Scrooge
This is when the ghost of C\hristams present brought Scrooge to the Cratchit's house. The spirit is trying to show that the Cratchit's do not have a ton of money, but they still were grateful for what they had. I think this changed Scrooge a little more than he already has changed.
This is when Scrogoe really changes. The last spirit takes him to the future and shows Scrooge his grave. Scrooge gets really upset because he really does not want to die so Scrooge asks the spirit for forgiveness and tells him over and over again that he has changed and is not a different person.
"No Spirit! Oh no, no. I am not the man I was!" (663)
Scrooge returns home with all of the spirits gone and he is a completely different person. He is a happy, jolly person who says Merry Christmas to everyone.
I think the theme is even though someone may seem one thing deep down they are always another. I think this because at first Scrooge was a grumpy mean old man who did not care about Christmas. After meeting 3 new people who taught him some important things Scrooge starting changing and became a completely differetn great person.
