I can't believe I actually get to settle on new land. I'm finally free from serfdom!
Trade is blossoming in this new town in Italy. Serfs were able to settle on the land, so towns sprang up. Then, trade increased because there were so many places all over Europe that were controlling the routes.
After towns grew, guilds and business practices were created because economics were continually being developed. One new business practice was called banking and it encouraged the idea of business.
The economy of England has continued to change from early England to the Norman Conquest, but William the Conqueror was able to defeat the Saxons at the Battle of Hastings and become King of England. He had a strong rule
William and his sons created unity in England by reforming the law in England. They established a common legal system which strengthened the unity between the Normans, Saxons, and the other citizen
I, King John, had so much French land that Philip II wanted to regain control of it. He went to war with me and whenever French kings wanted to fight, they stole the nobles' land. The nobles then made me sign the Magna Carta, which gave them more rights.
