  • Hannah Kesterson, Jamie Weller, and Ally Rose
  • The Canon's Yeoman's Tale
  • Sirs, I wish to over take you, to ride in this pleasant company and tell a merry tale or two.
  • My lord is wise. Not only can he tell a tale, but he can turn the road into silver and gold.
  • If your Lord is so wise and skillful, then why are you wearing poor and worn-out clothing?
  • When a man has too great a wit, often it happens that he misuses the same
  • I regret the past 7 years. I have grown to be tired and in debt. What I practice is a lie.
  • Whosoever will practice this cursed craft, however rich he be, shall not be rich enough; for all the goods he spends about it he shall lose
  • I will teach you what was taught me. There are 4 spirits and 7 bodies. The philosopher's stone, called elixir, we all seek after hard; for had we that, we should be secure enough.
  • It is never satisfying yet they never think they have enough. i warn you well, stay away from alchemy.
  • You asked why my clothes are so poor and worn-out. It is because if I was caught I would be killed.
