  • Lady Macbeth asks a servant to fetch her husband. She delivers a soliloquy, which shows she is finally feeling guilt, and is still not happy.
  • Macbeth explains to Lady Macbeth that the murder of King Duncan was only the beginning, and that they still have many people to worry about.
  • Macbeth does not tell his wife of his plan to kill Banquo and his son, but he tells her to be comforting when they arrive for the feast, and that a dreadful thing has to be done.
