As soon as I stepped out the door the moans grew louder. I needed to find my parents to survive, fighting the zombies together. But how? I decided to first search for them at their workplace.
I crept through the abandoned roads, looking anxiously over my shoulder to see if any zombies were following me. Unfortunately I wasn't looking where I was going and accidentally stepped on an empty packet of chips which made a loud crinkling noise. Several seconds later the noise of moaning became even louder than what they already were.
OH NO! I must have alerted the zombies of my presence when I stepped on the packet of chips.
I ran as fast as I could in the opposite direction of the moaning but the noise became louder and louder until it sounded as if it was coming from a couple of streets away. I decided that the best course of action would be to take shelter and try to hide from the zombies, but all of the buildings that I came across
had been boarded up from the inside. When the groaning sounded as if it was coming from behind me, I pulled out my baseball bat and smashed the open the door of the building closest to me which happened to be the shooting range.
OnceI was inside, I found a corpse on the ground with a rifle clutched in theirhands. A second after I picked it up, a zombie stumbledthrough the door I came through. From watching movies and reading comics I knew
the only way to kill a zombie was to destroy its head, as it can’t kill you if it can’t see or bite you. So I cocked the gun and shot a single bullet through what was left of its brain. The body slunk to the ground with a sickening thud. The sound of the gunshots must have attracted more zombies as they kept on piling through the door.
When I got to the last zombie, I ran out of ammunition so I was forced to smack it in the head the butt of the gun. Unfortunately this didn’t kill it so I plunged my hand into its chest and ripped its heart out. When my adrenaline rush had passed, I realized the last zombie had bitten me on my arm which was now turning green.
