Exposition: Tom asks if Clare's ok with going to the movies by herself. She says yes and leaves.
Rising Action: Tom opens the window feeling guilty for letting Clare go by herself and the yellow note flies out.
Rising Action: Tom follows the letter out the window and onto the ledge. The window closes and Tom is stuck outside. Then he becomes paralyzed in fear. Starts to think of what people will think of the contents of a dead man's pockets
Climax: Tom becomes furious and his priorities of life changes. As he realizes he should spend more time with Clare. He punches the window and gets back into the apartment
Falling Action: Tom puts the yellow note under and a pencil and walks out the house to go find his woman. Note flews back out the broken window and he laughs.
