Storyboard Text

  • Did you know that agriculture is one of the causes of greenhouse gas emissions?
  • Animal Agriculture is responsible for 25% of greenhouse gas emissions.
  • Woof, Woof
  • Vehicles are also not the only contributor to greenhouse gas emissions. Agriculture releases greenhouse gas emissions as well.
  • Raising livestock takes up 34 trillion gallons of water a year because of the water dependent grains that cows eat.
  • Poultry and pig farms are not as bad for the environment as cattle farms. This is because farmers need 28 times more land and 11 times more water to raise cattle.
  • Here are some ways to help stop the effects of animal agriculture on climate change. 1. One way to stop the effects of animal agriculture is to eat more poultry and less beef. 2. Which means we would have to stop buying beef and that would decrease the demand for beef and cattle farming. 3. Try to eat plant based burgers because that will make up for the lack of beef. (trust me you won't even know the difference).
