• I have a plan to get that trophy, it's going to involve some math and physics. ﻿
• We can't just let her treat us like that! I'm really upset!﻿
• Sarah and Maya were always interested with their older sisters belonging and especially her new shiny trophy, to the point where they planned to steal it.
• Great! In order to do it in the least time possible, you'll use your knowledge on physics and I will use my knowledge on systems of equations.﻿
• Okay so this is just a small sketch of the pulley system I already have. M1 could be hanging off to the yard and M2 could be in her room holding the trophy for us﻿
• M1﻿
• M2﻿
• She always screamed at them and made them feel like they are less than her, even though they are only 5 years younger
• So the trophy weighs 4kg and with the bucket that would be ﻿5 kg
• M2= bucket+ trophy= 5kg M1= bucket+rocks= 10kg
• That means we have to make the other mass bigger, lets do that by adding rocks to it until it becomes 10kg!﻿
• They went back to their room, feeling betrayed and sad. ﻿
• That is because M1 is the ony moving downwards, meaning the force of acceleration is higher than tension force causing the pulley to move﻿
• So why did you do it as Mg-T﻿ for mass one but T-Mg for mass 2?
• They decided to go to their study room in order to think of a plan ﻿
• They decided to lay put their variables in order to solve the equations. ﻿
• ﻿They decided Sarah should work on it using her knowledge on physics first then present it to Sarah the next day in order to clear out any confusions.
