This is a comic that shows my story in wich I relate to the parable of the three servants. This was in about January, we got 3 projects all due on the same day, I was tired and unable to finish them.
The next day at school our teacher was absent, meaning we have another day to finish our projects. some kids ignored this fact and did not use their time, as others such as myself saw this as an opportunity.
I worked hard that night using this opportunity and making more of it, just like how the first two servants took advantage of their master's absence and made more of what they were given.
luckily I was able to complete the projects and finally got a good night's sleep.
When our teacher returned, those who finished showed her their work and she was proud and she gave them good marks. As for the kids who had not completed their assignments on time the teacher was greatly disappointed.
This story is important and stuck with me since I've heard it. The reason for this is that the 3 servants resemble my 3 options when I am given something. Don't do anything with it, do something, or make more of it. For example, my story, each of the girls represents one of the options.
Our teacher was proud of those of us who had finished the many projects on time and who knew how to make more of their time, just like how the master was proud of the servants who made more of their money. But the one who did nothing with the extra time was left with disappointment from their teacher, or in the bible, their master. So basically what we can learn from this is to make more of what you've been given. When u don't not only do you disappoint others but you make life worse for yourself.
