One day in a place deep down in the ocean two babies were born, Sodium and Chlorine.
Sodium and Chlorine's birthplace had a high level of salinity. There community was deep, dense, pure, and a calm place.
Sodium was a pretty average alkali metal boy. He had an atomic number of 11. 11 protons and electrons, 12 neutrons, and an atomic mass of 22.99.
Chlorine, Sodiums best friend, was a halogen and together they bonded and stabilized each other. Chlorine had an atomic number of 17. 17 protons and electrons, 18 neutrons, and an atomic mass of 35.45.
One warm summer day something strange happened, all the aquatic life started to die.
Levels of phosphorus had become too high and boosted the growth of plant life causing the oceans cycle to be thrown off.
