Storyboard Text

  • Ana and I were preparing for our little organization's medical service in a remote island with a population of 2000 people, 50 km from the port of the southernmost part of Dawsu.
  • I know. I'm not finish yet.
  • You could fit in your bag. Hurry, the bus is on the way.
  • “I think so, Nanoy."
  • Are you ready for the mission?
  • The bus started and drove away from the apartment. We ran over a huge hump on the road. Then, I realized something.
  • No time to go back. The people are waiting for us.
  • I forgot my lucky pillow! Let's go back!
  • My eyes were almost filled with hot tears upon Leader Ted's serene declaration that everything I need was with me. That was so not true!
  • Don't worry, everything you need is with you.
  • Grrr...Only that pillow could give me comfort in that lousy island! And worse, we would be there for three days.
  • We were met by the barangay captain, whom the residents fondly called Tatang, together with his daughter.
  • Tatang, you have a wonderful place.
  • Thank you for having your mission here in our small place.
  • I’ve never seen a sea this lively.Back in the city, the sea is so gloomy. It cannot play; you know, there are lots of garbage floating everywhere.
  • This place sucked. The sea was so noisy with its swooshes. The air was hot and salty. When could I come home?
  • Seas are always like that. They are all the same.
