Storyboard Text

  • I figured I needed a shower for all the stress I've experienced. I asked Tatang where I could relax and have a shower.
  • Ohhh... Fresh water is sure hard to get here.
  • I understand. You are used to bathing with fresh water in the city. Fresh water here is for drinking and it is bought from Dawsu.
  • I tried to rest in the nipa hut with its crooked floor hurting my back. I dreamed of my soft bed in the apartment and my lucky pillow under my head.
  • I was curious where the people in the island store their water so I asked Neneng, Tatang's daughter.
  • We store the water at a shed near the chapel. By the way Ate, Tatang prepared 2 pails of water for your shower.
  • We went to the water shed and found it dryly empty so I asked Neneng where the water came from.
  • The people here contributed water for your consumption. Tatang said you badly needed water.
  • Oh, how selfish of me...
  • Do you want to see something amazing?
  • I realized how I became too focused on myself when other people even have more important needs than I do.
  • I'd love to, Neneng.
  • Seeing the scenery and knowing the needs of the people, I thought of not needing my lucky pillow for now.
  • It's really amazing, Neng. Thank you for showing me this.
