At the start of the school day, Jarred knew that it was going to be a day of thunder, rain, and lightning. Jarred always possessed a fear of lightning, as you never know where its going to strike.
This is not good...
As he looked out of his room window, his biggest fear was right on the other side of that windowpane. He was not ready to face his fear, but knew would have to anyway.
Jarred was constantly trying to pay attention in his classes, but was always interrupted by the roar of the lighting that struck fear into his heart.
You have overcame your fear! I am proud of you!
You're safe now!
Jarred realized that he had to walk home that day. Although his house was 15 minutes away walking, this would be the scariest and most intense challenge he would have to face in recent time.
Jarred made it home scared for his life, but was relieved to know that he was now safe from the strikes of lightning.
Home, sweet home!
Although the day at school and the walk home made him face his worst fears, Jarred knew that the lightning could now not affect him. His parents reassured him that he was now safe, and that they were proud of him. He knew the next day would be sunny, and that was great to hear.
