the people had to take turns riding on the wagon in the heat and with no food it was also fairly packed. the human behaviors changed over what was happening and it was hard to get food or water while being taken.

in chapter 3 the familys were separated from eachouther and held captive as they couldn't see eachouther this was at Auschwitz they were having ideas of what was happening and were terrified but nothing could be done.

in chapter 5 the prisoners were given advice about getting out and later on in the chapter the prisoners were sent marching through the snow
in chapter 6 the soilders forced the everyone to run and not walk and they were very tired and they had to sleep in the snow which was terrible and deathly and for frost bite
in chapter 7 people were very crammed in a train it was cold and the dead bodies were thrown out by the soilders and a son kills his father for a piece of bread
