  • "Do the scientists really know?"

  • The story takes place on the planet Venus. In Venus, is a room full of very hopeful students who's parents moved here for work. On this planet, it rains for over 7 years straight.
  • Climax
  • "The sun is so bright everyone!"
  • Excitement fills the room as all of the kids crowd around the windows standing shoulder to shoulder. It had been raining for 7 years straight, so the thought of possible sunlight today was unbelievable to them.  The windows were packed with children looking for the sun.
  • Falling Action
  • "Wait, where's Margot?!"
  • "Oh no!" "I forgot!"
  • After hearing one of the characters "Margot", talking about Earth and the sun a lot, one of the kids decides to tell everyone to lock her in a closet. The boy yells, "Hey everyone, let's put her in a closet before teacher comes!" Horrified, Margot says "No", as she falls back.
  • Resolution
  • "I didn't mean to forget, I'm sorry!"
  • The teacher tells all of the kids to get ready and put on their sun viewing equipment, when suddenly, the rain stops. Like a wave, all of the kids run outside filled with excitement to the brim. Children running, playing, and rolling around in the grass is the entirety of the event.
  • "The flowers are so beautiful!"
  • After an hour straight of playing and enjoying the sun, the sky abruptly turns gray. Rain starts pouring down and thundering as the kids go towards the school. As the kids walk towards the school, someone says, "Wait, where's Margot?"
  • The kids all horrifyingly look at each other in realization.  They all sprint towards the closet in which they locked her in. Finally, the boy who wanted to lock her in the closet in the first place says, "it was just supposed to be a joke." They finally open the door.
  • "You said it was supposed to be a joke!"
