  • Hand over the money you made in the army!
  • Women, during the war, would raise funds, start fundraisers, sew clothes for, and supplied the soldiers in the army.
  • Foreign-Born Heroes of the Revolution
  • Are you sure they went this way?
  • Some of the Natives sided with the British because they believed the British would win, and if they did, their liberties would be granted.
  • Espionage/Intelligence Gathering
  • "I only regret I have but one life to give to my country"
  • Slaves that joined the army had to give the money they earned to their owners and they did not get guns either.
  • Weapons/Tactics/Military Life
  • Some foreign heroes would help in combat, meaning commanding troops, participating in battles, and much more. They also contributed their knowledge and tactics as well as funded the army.

  • Nathan Hale was an American spy that volunteered to spy in New York, but was caght and hanged. He was known for his famous words "I regret I have but one life to give to my country."
  • Prisoners of war were treated with less respect than farm animals and rarely fed. Disease reeked the cells and there were sometimes 50 people in one cell.
