  • Lunch with a Mobster
  • They meet at last
  • HE'S DEAD!!!
  •  "Meyer Wolfsheim? No, he's a gambler." Gatsby hesitated, then added coolly: "He's the man who fixed the World's Series back in 1919." This is when Nick and Gatsby meet Mr.Wolfshiem. Nick finds out that Gatsby is close friends with a mobster. That tells us he has freinds in high places.
  • Tom and Myrtle fight
  •  "Suddenly, with a strained sound, Daisy bent her head into the shirts and began to cry stormily. Talk about love. Daisy is so in love with Gatsby that she can't even handle being near his shirts." Gatsby and Daisy finally meet and she is sad because of all the memories they shared and how much she has missed him. This tells us that they have a very deep past and a lot of drama.
  • Gatsby faces reality
  • "Wilson shoots Gatsby, killing him instantly, then shoots himself." George Wilson goes and kills Gatsby because Tom told him Gatsby killed Myrtle. Gatsby's death is the symbolic of the american dream dying.
  • The truth comes out
  • "Daisy! Daisy! Daisy!" shouted Mrs. Wilson. "I'll say it whenever I want to! Daisy! Dai –– "Making a short deft movement, Tom Buchanan broke her nose with his open hand."Nick meets Myrtle for the first time. Tom and Myrtle fight. Tom punches Myrtle in the nose and breaks it. Tom really does care about daisy and doesnt want Myrtle to mess things up.
  • "Gatsby reacts with surprise when he meets Pammy, Daisy and Tom's young daughter, for the first time. Although he knew she existed, the reality of actually seeing her startles Gatsby."Gatsby meets Daily's daughter and realizes that she moved on and had to face reality.
  • "It was a terrible mistake, but in her heart she never loved any one except me".Gatsby was the man who says this at the Plaza hotel during his day in New York with Daisy,Jordan,Nick, and Tom. He tells Tom that Daisy has never loved him and that Daisy only loves him, Gatsby." Gatsby wants Daisy to tell Tom she never loved him and always loved Gatsby. The truth comes out and everybody faces realty.
