Adventures of Trig and Jim
This storyboard does not have a description.
Jim was a local burgler that lives in a tree. One day Jim needed money to pay off the loan sharks.
Jim notices an open window while driving down Port Royal. He is 10ft away from the fence and wants to know how tall is the fence. Jim is standing at a 45 degree angle from the fence, so Jim uses trig and find out: tan(45)=x/10. The fence is 10ft high.
Since Jim is athletic he jumps over the fence. But still needs to get to the window.
Jim is hiding by the grill that is 15ft away from the window. He is squaching at a 65 degree angle by the grill. He uses trig to find the distance to the window, cos(65)=15/x. The window is 35.5 ft away.
Jim sneaks into the house through the window and begins stealing valuable items. All the sudden, the wife wakes up and sees Jim finessing all their stuff.
As police came up to the house, jim needed to use trig again to see how far the police officer is. Jim knew that the window is 35.5 feet away from the grill. He is looking out from the window at a 50 degree angle. So he uses trig and finds: sin(50)=x/35.5. The officer is 27.2 ft away, Jim sprints out the house and gets away.
