  • Hello,  my name is James Farmer and I would like to talk to you
  • yes of course
  • I saw your reaction back in town earlier
  • I have started an organization called CORE for equality,  we'ed like you to join
  • yeah, im not used to seeing people treated like this
  • yes, our goal is too stand up to these injust laws in the form of nonviolence
  • yes! I would be honered to join CORE to create racial equality starting in the south where we need it the most
  • I'd like you to meet some of the team
  • After Eds encounter with the police brutality and ill-treatment of colored people a civil rights activist confronts him.

  • Hello all
  • Ed, Next week our CORE members will be making history 
  • James Farmer offers Ed a position in his organization for civil rights (Congress Of Racial Equality) 
  • we plan to travel to different southern states, to end segregation through nonviolent protests
  • we're calling it the Freedom rides and we want you to join
  • you must know this is no easy task, you could be hurt
  • I accept
  • Ed joins CORE in order to further strengthen the civil rights movement.
  • We are taking a big step in the right direction, we demand racial equality
  • I thank CORE for the opportunity, no matter what happens we must remain strong

  • Ed meets some of the CORE members, who all have the same viewpoints on racial equality. 
  • Ed accepts to join on the Freedom ride, through thick and thin, he made a commitment to ensure racial justice for all. 
  • In the end,  Ed leaves on the Greyhound buses from D.C to Virginia and then on. His Journey as an activist is just beginning, he will go on to grow into a great American civil rights leader that will always be remembered
