  • now that i've finished my education, I think it's time to Travel back to the south because I need to catch up with some old friends
  • where are you headed?
  • Birmingham, Alabama. I have not been back there in ages
  • Ed Blankenheim attends Unversity of Arizona studying chemistry 
  • Birmingham, Alabama
  • wow Alabama is a lot different than Minnesota
  • Whites Only
  • During Eds time in the marine core most of his comrades grew up in the south and they always asked him to come visit.
  • Get on the Ground!
  • I said get on the ground you're under arrest!
  • Officer, what did I Do?
  • Ed ventures into the deep south,  a place much different than his home in Lake Benton, Minnesota.
  • I need to do something about this! I will not stand for this injustice.
  • Whites Only
  • Ed is experiencing a culture far different than what he is used to, especially the strict segregation laws that he is not used to.
  • Ed is witnessing the Jim Crow south first hand, with mistreatment of Blacks by the police.
  • Ed Blankenheim was determined to make a change
