Storyboard Text

  • The Last Supper
  • the bread is my body and the wine is my blood
  • The Gardens of Gethsemane 
  • God please take this burden from me 
  • The Betrayal of Judas 
  • Jesus and his disciples all had a last meal together on the day of Passover. Jesus then told his disciples to eat some bread and drink some wine, the bread as the body and wine as the blood, to remember him. During the meal Jesus predicts that he will be betrayed and that he will also be denied 3 times 
  • Trial by Jewish Leaders
  • Jesus and his disciples go to the garden of Gethsemane to spend the night praying. Jesus asked God if he could escape the crucifixion. God tells Jesus that he has to go through the suffering. Jesus asks for strength and God gives it to him. 
  • Trial by Pontius Pilate 
  • BARABBAS!
  • Judas, who was one of Jesus's disciples,  comes to the garden with a group of armed men. These men were sent by the Jewish authorities to arrest Jesus. Judas goes and kisses Jesus telling the men who he is. When the men start to arrest Jesus, Peter cuts of the ear of one of the men. Jesus tells them to stop fighting and heals the mans ear    
  • Jesus's Crucifixion 
  • Jesus is questioned by the Jewish leaders. Caiaphas wanted to stop Jesus before he caused a rebellion and stop the temple from being. Jesus says phrases that make the Jews think he is blasphemes and the Romans think that he is a traitor. One of the main reasons for his death was the fact that he claimed to be the son of God.
  • I am the son of God
  • Pontius Pilate Was the Roman governor of punishment, this meant that the Jews could not punish Jesus so they went to him. Pilate did not think that Jesus did anything wrong but a crowd of people say that he should be killed. Jesus was traded for Barabbas who was a murderer 
  • BARABBAS!
  • Jesus was taken through the streets being whipped and carrying his cross. The guards would make fun of him and call him the king of Jews, they then gave him a crown of thorns. Jesus is then taken to Golgotha where he is nailed to the cross. He brings one of the other people beside of him to God and also tells God to forgive the guards because they don't know what they have done
  • Get the nails!
