Socioeconomic factors determine the quality of understanding we receive. The more money and education the better an individual is.
Age, drug use, income, location, and access to insurance are all factors that we both control and don't control that make public health.
"How can these play a role in Public health?"
It's simple, the better we are, the better health tends to be. If you practice healthy living, if you have the money and education to do so, you can live longer.
I've never realized that discrimination can effect public health... I was always under the impression that the medical community will help anyone...
