- Xeres, darius' son, comes leader and want revenge for what they did to his father.

- For the rest of Greece to prepare, Sparta sends 300 spartans lead by King Leonidas, in an area called Thermopylae. The 300 Persia slaughters all of his men.
- Battle of Thermopylae
- The Persian had bigger boats so the Athens used this to their advantage. They took their smaller boats and repeatedly smashed into Persias big boat.
- Battle of Salamis
- Athens and its allies joined forced and defeated the Persian yet again. The Persian never attempted to attack Greece again.
