  • Act IV Scene I
  • "As doth the raven o'er the infectious house, Boding to all-he had my handkerchief." (Shakespeare 4. 1. 24-25)
  • "Her honor is an essence that's no seen; They have it very oft that have it not. But for the handkerchief." (Shakespeare 4. 1. 19-21)
  • Act IV Scene II
  • "No, as I am a  Christian! If not to preserve this vessel for my lord From any other/ foul unlawful touch Be not to be a strumpet, I am none." (Shakespeare 4.2. 95-98)
  • "I cry you mercy, then. I took you for that cunning whore of Venice That married/ with Othello.-You, mistress." (Shakespeare 4. 2. 103-105
  • Act IV Scene III
  • "Beshrew me if I would do such a wrong for the world!" (Shakespeare 4. 3. 88-89)
  • "Why, the wrong is but a wrong i' th' world; and, having the world for your labor,/ tis a wrong in your own world, and you might quickly make it right." (Shakespeare 4. 3.90-93)
  • Act IV scene I is about Iago trying to get Othello to believe in his lies about the lovely Desdemona. Othello doesn't want to believe it at first then Iago feeds him more lies and he becomes more suspicious about his wife. Othello doesn't want to make a mistake so he asked for proof and Iago had none to give except little tale. Once Othello gets proof from Iago even though it's not true he falls into an angry trance that makes him want to kill Desdemona and Cassio.
  • Scene two of act four was about a variety of events that went on. Othello and Desdemona are arguing about Desdemona being unfaithful. This scene also has Emilia and Desdemona have a talk about men and their jealousy. We also have the part where Desdemona asks Iago what she should do to get Othello back from his jealous state. 
  • In act IV scene III Othello is enraged and slaps Desdemona and tells her to be gone. After all of the conflict Desdemona and Emilia have a conversation of the way men are and how the act.
