Storyboard Text

  • Why you bully me?
  • What are you doing?
  • The symptoms for lung cancer are coughing up blood, chest pains, coughing that gets worse, wheezing, weight loss with no cause and shortness of breath
  • Wow, I didn't  know that
  • Well, cigarettes cause 80 to 90 percent of lung cancer. It is also the number one risk factor
  • People who smoke are 15 to 30 times more likely to get and/or die from lung cancer.
  • You should be screened for Lung Cancer if you are a heavy smoker, if you've quit smoking in the last 15 years, or if you are between 55 and 80 years old
  • That's really interesting. Is that all you know?
  • Nope. It is also a noncommunicable disease, meaning you can not catch it from anyone.
  • There are two types of Lung Cancer, Small Cell Lung Cancer and Non Small Cell Lung Cancer
  • If you are diagnosed with lung cancer,  multiple tests are run to see how far it has spread through your lungs and the rest of your body. This is called staging.
  • The risk factors are smoking and tobacco. The more you smoke the more the risk goes up
  • Wow! I did not know that. Thank you for telling me that. I am going to try to stop smoking.
  • Where did all the chickens come from anyway?
