It’s okay you are going to talk to the officer then we will cry and eat jell-o
Hermione talks to the officer
we can’t get evidence on who did it because you were left in the lake too long
do you want him caught?
hermione wakes up with the nurse in the room and her best friend Polly. She has no remembrance of what happened last night but knows it’s not good. She’s scared to hear what they are going to say which causes her to feel sick.
Polly feels bad
it’s not your fault polly..
hermione starts freaking out because she doesn’t know what happened and is getting very scared. Polly gets in bed with her to call her down and tells her to talk to the officer and get it over with so then she can cry later. Polly then gets out of her bed to call the officer in to talk about what she remembers.
hermione get an appetite
the officer tells hermione that if she wants to find the guy that did this to her that her pregnancy test would have to come back postive. She wants to find out who did this to her but she doesn’t want to be the preganancy in her grade. She is faced with a decision on what she wants to do with the situation
Hermione starts to cope with the situation
Polly feels that if they would have payed more attention and stuck together this could have been avoided so she feels this is all her fault which it isn’t. Hermione doesn’t blame her at all but wants to know who did this to her so that they can go to jail. Polly is just glad her friend is okay.
Hermione I’m so sorry, I never should have left your side and let you go out all alone, this is all my fault.
The nurse brings in their lunch and they start eating and shockingly Hermione has an appetite. They start joking around and laughing while enjoying each other’s company. It’s like a breath of fresh in time of need.
I love you Polly
Hermione starts joking about the situation and finds it weird that she finds her situation funny but Polly thinks it’s her way of coping with the idea. Polly also thinks that it’s just for now because it’ll hit her later and it’ll be hard. They continue talking them leave the hospital the next day and head home.
it’s fine for now but you will have to face it later
do you think it’s bad that I’m laughing about it?
