  • Macbeth, Lady Macbeth, Malcolm and Macduff are mourning the loss of King Duncan, as Banquo walks in and Macduff tells him about the news.

  • Donalbain and Malcolm enter. Malcolm is informed of the news, the passing of his father, by Macbeth.
