You can use a model to show when and where the rocks were formed such as a timeline.
The composition of solar objects can be found by soil and rock samples. Samples can be collected to determine the composition of the rock and where it came from. A CC would be structure and function and the SEP would be analyzing and interpreting the structure of the rocks. This can tell us where the rocks came from and how old they are.
