King Eurystheus tells Heracles to go capture the girdle of Hippolyte from the Amazons. Eurystheus plans for the Amazons to kill because at this point Heracles has made Eurystheus look like a fool.
Heracles needs a ship and a crew. He sent a message to all of Greece and people flooded to go with him.
Heracles met Hippolyte and had friendly conversation. Hippolyte gave the girdle to him because she does not even like it.
A mob of angry Amazons flooded down the hill thinking that their queen has been made prisoner.
Heracles and his men were forced to fight the Amazons. And in the end Hippolyte had been killed. A innocent person that he had just been made a friend got killed.
Heracles had been successful for his 9th labor.
