  • A human caused forest fire can be caused by a number of reasons including cigarettes and campfires
  • A naturally caused forest fire can be started by lightning striking dry leaves or trees
  • A forest fire can harm the environment by destroying trees that filter air and making smoke that pollutes the air
  • How can a forest fire be harmful to the environment?
  • How are they put out?
  • By using axes and hoes firefighters dig fire-lines, which is a clearing of debris and brush so the fire cant keep growing.
