British shipping supplies
Lexington and Concord
The British were shipping supplies across the Atlantic Ocean. The ships were taking a long time to get back to Britain. The British were getting in trouble because the ships were not back to Britain and this slowed down the British.
The British were fighting colonists in Lexington. They killed eight and wounded ten. The British then moved to Concord to take colonists weapons out of buildings. The British set those buildings on fire and headed for Boston. They killed over 100 colonists.
Valley Forge was in the winter of 1777-1778. It was winter and a lot of Colonists were dying because of harsh tempatures. There was no battle fought in Valley forge. Friedrich von Steuben an Prussian army officer went to valley Forge to teach the Americans staying their simple military skills because of the things happening.
