A few hundred years ago, on the planet Earth, there was a boy named Bob. Bob was born with severe anger issues and to calm himself down, he would kick anything directly in front of him.
One day, Bob was in the room of the God, Alex. Alex said something about Bob that made him so angry that he kicked one of Alex's most precious valuables.
Luckily, Alex was the God of feelings and emotions so he acted on Bob's temper tantrum by providing him with a ball to kick when he gets angry. Bob was so excited to know that there was something that could help with his problem.
To avoid another temper tantrum, Bob would go kick around the ball outside any chance he could get. Each day, he would add a different skill to do with his ball and found out different ways to kick it to make it more enjoyable for him.
The ball method worked so well for Bob, that his friends began to notice and decided to join in, too. Bob's friends Bethany and Carl would meet with Bob every morning before school and every afternoon after school to kick the ball around. This continued for the whole school year and all three of them never had a single temper tantrum again.
As time went on, many other people from the town joined them in kicking the ball to let out their anger. Everyone enjoyed it so much that they made it a game for people around the whole world. They called this game soccer.
