  • In the Battle of Brooklyn, George Washington decides to leave with his men while the campfires were still burning to trick the British army, granting them another fighting day
  • Washington's men were surviving through tough conditions during the Battle of Trenton, but was able to encourage them to win and receive victory in the battle of Princeton as well
  • At the first battle of Saratoga, the British loss a lot of men due to the Americans being positioned well for combat. Because of this,  they had a lost at the second battle. The French were encouraged to ally with the Americans, the turning point of the Revolution.
  • From Washington's ability to cheer on his men and direct his troops, he was able to survive a cold training with his men during the winter at Valley Forge. 
  • During the Battle of Cowpens and Guilford Courthouse, the Americans were able to get rid of almost 27 percent of the British army with their battle tactics. Nathanael Greene of the Americans lead them, boosting their morale and creating an advantage.
  • The Battle of Yorktown would be the final battle, one that guaranteed America's freedom. The French were also helping the Americans out this time, giving them the official win.
