She thought it was all in her head until a loud SNAP! came from behind her. When she turned around to see what was there she saw a humongous bear with razor sharp teeth and matted brown fur emerging from the gloomy shadows of the surrounding bushes.
As the ravenous bear continued to get closer to Isabel she was able smell its horrid breath that smelt of rotting fish, she could feel its warm wet breath on her skin and she could hear the thump of its huge feet on the ground. At that moment Isabel remembered a rhyme that her parents had made for her to help her stay brave when she was afraid.
