In my perspective i love my sister, and i cannot bare to believe that she is dead.
Everyone thinks i am insane for burying her alive but i just did not want to see her suffer anymore.
From a readers perspective we may view this as insane, and crazy but if readers view it from Roderick's perspective they will better understand why Roderick does what he does in the story.
In my perspective i love Homer and i cant picture him dead so i keep him in my room instead of burying him
I sleep with him every night because i love him. I wish people can understand instead of judging me.
Emily and Roderick both have their own perspectives on why they do what they what they do. Us readers need to better understand the perspective of the main characters so that we can better understand the meaning of the story.
