  • They traded with the First Nations people, exporting their trades back to their home country
  • The trades were such a success, french and english settlers began creating colonies and trading posts
  • Many First Nations would trade with the Europeans as they benefited from it

  • They would trade their trades to more First Nations people who where further north, they acted as the middle men
