  • The story starts out with Margot explaining how venus always rains and only stops every 7 years and how some kids can't even remember the last time it stopped.
  • Exposition

  • The conflict starts when a bad kid named William starts fighting Margot on wether or not it's actually going to rain. He also doesn't believe her when she says she's seen the sun.
  • The rising action is when the rain stops and the kids get excited, but William starts some stuff with Margot, and the other kids agree. (because he's jealous.)
  • Rising action
  • STATUS: NOT RAINING
  • Climax
  • The climax is when the kids shove Margot into a closet.
  • Closet
  • The falling action is when the kids go outside to play. (Not Margot.)

  • Resolution
  • The resolution is when the kids remember that they lock Margot in the closet and let her out.
