Storyboard Text

  • Foreshadowing: In the story, Rainsford is warned about the dangers of the island. Foolishly, he chooses not to believe it. This foreshadows that Rainsford will, in fact, be in trouble when he gets to the island.
  • The Most Dangerous Game
  • Conflict: The biggest conflict seems to be Man VS Man. This is because Rainsford literally has to fight for his life against Zaroff. He also has to struggle to resist Zaroff's evil ideas.
  • Exposition
  • I hate my life.
  • Exposition:Rainsford washes up on a mysterious island after accidentally falling off of his boat. He meets General Zaroff and finds out that the man is a killer.
  • Rising Action
  • Rising Action:After Rainsford refuses to hunt humans with Zaroff, Zaroff hunts Rainsford. Rainsford is also hunted by Ivan. He must avoid the perils of nature as well.
  • The Author's Purpose is to entertain.
