Storyboard Text

  • I've received the nomination for president. Seems legit, as I am the former governor of California, am a Protestant, and have little to no controversy.
  • We chose you as we believe you can win. Do not let us down.
  • I've won the party election, and I have several delegates supporting me. Now, it is time to get ready for the party conventions where my delegates and I will get nominated for my party.
  • At the national convention, I must be voted to be a presidential candidate by my delegates. After my speech, I have to repair any divisions and make sure everyone votes for me.
  • I do not believe you are fit to be president. I wanted the other candidate to win.
  • This man believes that I am not a fit candidate. I need to fix this to ensure I win the presidential election.
  • Campaigning is the longest part of the election. We spend hours advocating for ourselves and against the opponent.
  • We prepare for everything; press conferences, debates, you name it.
  • My vote does not go directly the president, but it does help elect him.
  • Now, after all my hard work, it is up to the voters for the popular vote.
  • If the popular vote is Democratic, it is a vote for the Democratic elector.
  • In the Electoral College, the popular vote will now be used. State electors cast final votes on who becomes president. In a tie, the House of Representatives chooses.
  • If a state's popular vote is Republican, it will be a vote for the Republican elector.
